Achim Denig<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0Institute for Nuclear Physics<br \/>\nJohannes Gutenberg University Mainz<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"pl-PL\" align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Wyg\u0142osi wyk\u0142ad:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>The Low-Energy Frontier of the Standard Model<br \/>\n<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 3 cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">With the discovery of the Higgs-Boson in the year 2012 at the LHC \/ CERN the last particle of the Standard Model of Particle Physics was actually found. The Standard Model describes not only the fundamental building blocks of Nature, but quantitatively predicts also their interactions according to 3 of the 4 fundamental forces. Although the completion of the Standard Model marks a great success, there remain very serious open issues (e.g. the Dark Matter puzzle), which cannot be described by the Standard Model. To answer those questions, low-energy precision experiments, which typically are much smaller in scale than the experiments at the LHC, have the potential to resolve effects of Physics beyond the Standard Model. In this approach very precise theoretical calculations are confronted with very precise experimental measurements. We discuss a few examples of this &#8222;low-energy frontier&#8221;, for instance the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, g-2, which probably gives us a first hint for Physics beyond the Standard Model.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"pl\"><span title=\"David A.
